This is what gets scary about unchecked powers of any government. Our government has now started prosecuting and sentencing people for merely TALKING about terrorist activities and support for the positions of other governments. Yes, he actually committed no crime, other than being stupid enough to blab about it to people he didn't know, then "admint" to it under interogation by police.

Russia, in cahoots with China, has decided to return to long range bomber flights that go outside of their own territory. The big deal is that this in cooperation with CHINA. For those that don't know, China has declared war on us, yet our government continues to do nothing about...oh wait...they are...opening more trade relations...that works for a country that has declared war on us.

Well here are a couple of examples of why the Patriot Act needs to be curbed and what happens when the government is given too much unchecked power. It's kind of like what happens when I tell my child she can watch TV for the next hour, then lights out...and she ends up watching it all night (give an inch, take a mile). In short the FBI continues to spy on AMERICANS improperly, without warrants, and without probable cause.
