Bottom line on this story is that lately Russia (and Mr. Putin in paticular) has been making moves that will return us to the cold war, in fact, I think they already have. I think he spent way too many years in the KGB and misses the good ole days. E.g. retaking control of the media,  which almost all are state owned, including newspapers, television, and radio. Ditto for re-taking control of most of Gazprom, the largest energy conglomerate in Russia. The list even includes jailing critics who speak out against him.

This is another dangerous step that our real enemies are taking (as opposed to the "perceived" boogey men that were in Iraq).

To clarify, China has not declared a traditional war with us, rather, what they term a modern war. One that is played out economically, socially, and in non-traditional ways of conducting a war (you know, with guns and bombs).

A little noticed and not widely reported "point of interest" is the "President" of the toy company that is involved with using lead paint on millions of toys sent to the US. Well, he apparently committed suicide...or did he? I suspect the truth lies a little closer to his handlers got rid of him for being exposed. Remember, companies are not technically owned by individuals in China, they are owned by the state. Very little in China happens without the Communist party knowing about it and being involved in it.
